Camp Fee

Tuition: $150 / $120 (Kids under 8)
Meals: $48
Cabin Lodging: $48 (upgrade available for additional fee)

Early Reg: $118 / $96 (Kids under 8) <End on 6/1>

Payment Options:

1. Fill out the online application and make a full payment using your credit card.

2. Enclose a check for the full amount with application and send it to ViBO Music, 488 San Mateo Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066.

3. Enclose a check for $45.00 (non-refundable deposit) with your application and pay the balance of the fee on or before June 1, 2011.  

Cancellation / Refund Policy:

Full refund will be available for cancellations prior to June 1. A $50/applicant administrative fee will be charged for processing the refund.  The fee is not refundable after June 1, 2011. 

If a session is cancelled or a student remains wait-listed, a full refund will be issued and no administrative fee will be charged.

NEW THIS YEAR - Family Camp + Piano Camp

ViBO Family Camp will run in conjuction with the Pianofun Piano Camp by New School of American Music by Robert Laughlin. Campers have the option of attending both camps' classes with NO additional fee! Here's what people think about Robert's classes.


ViBO Family Music Camp combines music workshops, performances, and lots of fun for everyone, from newbies to advanced musicians. The camp offers classes of different levels and family oriented activities in a welcoming environment. Evening activities include Family Song Circle, performances and jam sessions. ViBO Family Camp is an experience to connect with the kids, share fun together through music and make new friends.

In the evening, there will be many fun activities, including concerts, dances, games and a family song-circle session with live music.  Your camp culminates with a Family Talent Show, in which all campers will share what they learn from the camp.  The ViBO Family Camp is a chance to reconnect with the kids, share some fun together through music and make new friends.

Q and A:

Q. What is VIBO Family Camp?
A. Family Camp consists of courses and workshops in a multitude of different instruments, ensemble playing, vocal and performances.

Q. What is Piano Camp?
A. It's a two day experience of classes, workshops, guided practice, and personal coaching in the art pop piano playing.

Q. If we enroll in the Family Camp, can we take some of the Piano Camp classes and as well?
A. Yes. All participants in Family Camp are free to take any of the Piano Camp sessions they want.

Q. Is it for beginners?
A. For family camp, there are multiple classes for different skill levels to choose from each time slot.  No matter if you're beginner or experienced, you will always have classes to attend.

For piano camp, there will be two tracks, one for beginners and one for those beyond the beginning stage. Absolute beginners are encouraged. The second track (Beyond) is designed for those students who have taken the Instant Piano Workshop designed by Robert Laughlin or those who already have a little background in pop/chord piano playing.

Q. Is there an extra charge for Piano Camp?
A. No extra charge. It's all included in the one tuition fee.

Q. What about sleeping arrangements for Saturday night?
A. Sleeping is bunkhouse style. The bunk houses have about a dozen single cots with mattresses. You bring your own sleeping bag or bedding. The bunkhouses are segregated by sex. If you wish, you can opt for a private room upgrade for yourself or your family. Those come with a semi-private bathroom. Again, bring your own bedding. More info on facilities and what to bring are at the Walker Creek Ranch web site. Be sure to read the list of essentials before leaving for camp.

Q. Where is Walker Creek Ranch located?
A. Less than an hour north of San Francisco and less than an hour from the famous Napa Valley wine country, the ranch is located on several acres of pristine natural foothill topography. It's currently used as a nature camp for the Marin County school system. Aside from the wildlife, you won't see any neighbors. It's really beautiful and ideal for short hikes and explorations during your free time.

Q. What about meals?
A. You will get lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. It's all served cafeteria style and is actually pretty good. Vegetarian meals are available and they can accommodate special needs. Be sure to inquire ahead of time.
