

Liliya Matt, Piano
Received her Bachelor's of Music degree in Piano Performance and Music Education from the Conservatory of Music in Belorussia. She has taught piano in Music school in Odessa for over 15 years.
Liliya moved to San Francisco in 1990 where she continued to teach privately through out the Bay Area. She completed CCSF Music Performance/Rehearsal program.
In 2006 she enrolled in the SF Jazz School with Professor Susan Chen, to embark on the study of improvisation. Ms. Chen has been leading her own Jazz Trio and playing in the city's foremost clubs.
These studies have been helpful to utilize classical Russian mythology as her principal teaching technique with a wide variety of teaching strategies. Liliya enjoys working with students of all ages and levels. She is currently a pianist for various nursing homes, such us Jewish Home, Kindred Health Center and other centers. She is also a piano accompanist and has been playing with a violinist at the Jewish Home during holiday
performances.
